Error 42-1

This error occurs when no flow rate is detected during the dispensing of still water.

Troubleshooting steps

Open the "Tests" section, then perform a 17oz / 500ml still water test.

-> If the water does not flow, proceed to the next step.

-> If the water flows, the issue is with the outlet water meter.

  1. Ensure the cable is properly plugged into the board.

  2. Replace the faulty water meter.

Open the "Tests" section and test Pump #1.

-> If the flavor is dispensed, proceed to the next step.

-> If the flavor is not dispensed, it is a software issue.

Temperature

Check the temperature using the Sensors section.

-> If the temperature is above 32°F / 0°C, proceed to the next step.

-> If the temperature is below 32°F / 0°C, refer to Error 40-1.

Inlet Valve

Touch the inlet valve to check its temperature.

-> If it is warm or hot, proceed to the next step.

-> If it is cold, the issue is with the valve.

  1. Verify the cable is properly connected to the board.

  2. Replace the faulty valve.

Filter

Ensure the filter is in the "open" position.

Water Line Test

Remove the plug, then open the blue line valve.

-> If water does not flow, there is no water at the inlet.

-> If water flows, the issue is with the outlet valve.

  1. Verify the cable is properly plugged into the board.

  2. Replace the faulty valve.
